beautifully hand-carved from wood and finished in subtle shades of pale blue, soft green, cream and muted pink. The delicate painted surface contrasts with the natural warmth of the exposed wood, giving the sculpture a distinctive character and wonderful depth. Mounted on a cylindrical wooden base, the work has a strong vertical presence and an almost totemic quality.
