Designed in 1958 for Louis Poulsen, it is a timeless example of Scandinavian design, combining elegant aesthetics, technical precision and functional lighting.

The lamp’s distinctive sculptural form consists of eight aluminium shades arranged in carefully balanced proportions. Its ingenious construction creates soft, evenly distributed, glare-free light, making the Snowball both a functional light source and a striking statement piece.

Every detail, from the proportions of the individual shades to the overall silhouette, reflects Henningsen’s thoughtful approach to lighting design. **Condition**

The lamp is in good vintage condition, with natural signs of age visible in the photos. This particular example dates from the 1980s. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition .

**Restoration & Electrical**

The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and fitted with a new braided electrical cable.

We put a great deal of time, care and heart into preparing each lamp. Our aim is to preserve its original vintage character while ensuring it is ready to be installed and enjoyed in its new home.
