The narrow, tall chest is thought to date from the 19th century and was used by a greengrocer from Fürth right up until the 1970s. The crate has a beautifully weathered appearance and signs of wear that tell a story spanning more than a hundred years. On the lid in particular, the paint has flaked off in decorative patches, revealing the wood grain beautifully. An authentic, well-used item with a character full of history, which, thanks to its narrow dimensions, looks particularly good in a hallway or smaller room. Sturdy enough to be used as a seat. 54 cm high, 75 cm wide, 33 cm deep.12 See less
