this isn't a table you move; it's a table you install.
the top, made of wide pine planks with a tight, wavy grain, prominent knots, and a golden honey hue, has been reworked and finished with a matte varnish. The material is raw, without unnecessary priming. The base is the true signature of the piece: two x-shaped frames on each side, in solid beech with sharp angles, connected by a central longitudinal crossbar. A boldly brutalist construction: robust, graphic, and uncompromisingly decorative. This type of crossed base, on this scale and in this wood, is rare on the market. A refectory format (for convents, schools, large houses) reimagined for contemporary domestic or professional use.
