A polychrome glazed ceramic pitcher in the shape of a rooster's head, featuring bold colors: a nuanced red comb, finely modeled orange and green plumage, a yellow eye, and a black beak. A handle sculpted from deep green feathers completes the design.
On the side, behind the wattle, a mustachioed man's face with closed eyes is sculpted in reserve. This dual element makes the piece rarer than classic rooster pitchers, blending popular humor with decorative flair.
In the tradition of 20th-century figurative majolica and slipware, it will find its place on a dining table, sideboard, or console. It can be used as a pitcher or a decorative vase. A beautiful conversation piece, a striking addition to any interior.
