Scandinavian secretary desk from the 1950s/1960s, characterized by the decorative use of various woods. Elm, with its warm hue and even grain, defines the structure and fronts of the three large drawers, while the curved drop-leaf is embellished with a large, symmetrically arranged elm burl panel. Inside, lighter birch, also figured, contrasts with the darker wood elements and provides small drawers, compartments, and document shelves. When open, the drop-leaf provides a large writing surface. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully. See less
