This piece features the iconic "Neuer Ausschnitt" (New Cutout) form and is beautifully decorated with the classic, underglaze chrome-green "Weinlaub" (Vine Leaf / Voller grüner Weinkranz) pattern, which was originally designed by Johann Samuel Arnhold in 1817. The lid is adorned with a meticulously hand-modeled, three-dimensional rosebud and branch finial that serves as a decorative handle.
The underside bears the authentic underglaze blue Meissen crossed swords mark with a dot between the hilts, accurately dating this specific piece to the highly collectible Pfeiffer Period (1924–1934).

Excellent vintage condition. This sugar bowl has been remarkably well-preserved. There are no chips, cracks, hair-lines, or signs of restoration. Crucially, the delicate, hand-sculpted rosebud finial on the lid remains completely intact without any damage.
