20th-Century Meissen Porcelain Miniature Sugar Bowl with Rose Bud Finial in 'Vine Leaves' Pattern
This charming vintage porcelain sugar bowl with a matching lid was manufactured by the world-renowned Meissen Porcelain Manufactory in Germany during the 20th Century. It features the factory’s highly collectible, traditional underglaze green "Vine Leaves" decor (Voller grüner Weinkranz or Weinlaub), applied to the clean, round contours of a classical form.
A particularly exquisite feature of this piece is the lid’s hand-sculpted, three-dimensional rose bud finial with detailed green leaves, serving as an elegant handle. The vibrant green leaf pattern and borders create a beautiful, organic contrast against the brilliant white, hard-paste porcelain body.
The underside of the base proudly bears the iconic underglaze blue Meissen Crossed Swords mark, with no factory cancellation lines, confirming its authenticity and official top-tier factory grading as 1st Choice / 1. Wahl.
