The table features a round wooden top with a brass rim, an elegantly turned central pedestal, and a round base with a wide brass finial. The old drill holes on the base are also of interest. They may indicate that the table was originally bolted to the ship's floor.

Gustavuso Pulitzer-Finali was an Italian architect and one of the most important designers of ship interiors in the 20th century. His work includes the interiors of various Italian passenger ships, including the Conte di Savoia, Conte Biancamano, and Andrea Doria.

The table dates from the 1940s and is in beautiful vintage condition with age-related wear and an attractive patina.
