Art deco patinated brass and opaline glass table lamp, germany 1930s this vintage table or bedside lamp was designed and made in germany in the 1930s during the bauhaus period. It features a rounded shade made of cream-colored opaline glass. The glass shade is supported by a curved brass arm with a bronze aged patina. A decorative metal cap and spherical joint connect the shade to the upper end of the curved support, allowing the light to be tilted to adjust its direction. The combination of patinated metalwork and smooth glass is characteristic of art deco lighting from the 1930s. Measurements diameter globe: 4.7" (14 cm) diameter base: 4.7" (12 cm) the light has been rewired with new fabric cord. It requires one e26/e27 bulb and comes with a continental european 2-pin plug and adapter for use in us. All lighting is converted for us usage.
