An elegant neoclassical Empire Revival round center table, attributed to Ethan Allen, featuring a richly figured sunburst veneer top, warm mahogany-toned finish, and sophisticated gilt accents throughout.
The beautifully arranged radial veneer creates a striking geometric pattern across the circular tabletop, enhanced by delicate gilded banding along its perimeter.
A substantial architectural apron with contrasting gilt detailing rests upon four gracefully curved supports, each embellished with classical Greek key motifs. The sculptural legs connect to a distinctive shaped platform base, terminating in small gilded bun feet.
The harmonious combination of rich wood tones, classical ornamentation, and dramatic architectural lines gives this table a timeless presence, equally suited for an elegant foyer, sophisticated living room, or library.
Attributed to Ethan Allen based on similarities to other documented examples. The underside retains its original production label dated September 2, 2015, identifying Indonesia as the country of manufacture. The label does not identify the maker, and the attribution remains unverified.

The tabletop exhibits scattered surface scratches, fine abrasions, and several localized finish imperfections consistent with previous use. Minor wear to the gilt detailing is also present. These imperfections are documented in the accompanying close-up photographs. Please review all images carefully. Our inventory features a curated selection of vintage furnishings and decorative pieces, each with its own character, history, and age-related imperfections. As vintage items, condition will naturally vary, and signs of previous use—including minor wear, marks, finish variations, or other imperfections—may be present. These characteristics are part of the individuality and history of each piece. Photographs are provided as an important visual reference for condition, and we encourage buyers to review all images carefully. We believe the beauty of vintage lies not only in its design, but also in the character acquired through a previous life. A single image has been digitally staged to showcase potential placement and styling. The remaining photographs provide the most accurate representation of the piece’s condition, finish, and overall character. less
