Crafted from a dark, richly grained hardwood with a deep, nearly black patina, the tray features gently rounded corners and a shallow gallery edge.

The center of the tray is decorated with a vibrant nature scene. Two birds are perched on a twisting branch, one with a pale yellow body and the other with bright pink plumage. The branch is adorned with delicately cut shell blossoms, leaves, and buds in shades of white, pink, and vibrant green and blue. The artisan has used a stunning range of iridescent shell colors to create a lifelike composition against the striking, textured grain of the dark wood background.

The tray is solid, substantial, and features a smooth, polished finish. It serves as a stunning decorative accent or a functional piece for serving tea and organizing small items on a vanity or coffee table.
