Its rotary selector switch is the family's signature — it lights the central globe alone, the three satellite bulbs alone, or all four together — offering three distinct moods from a single piece, from soft ambient glow to full sculptural illumination.

Unmarked, as many examples of this design are (paper labels rarely survive); the design and switching behavior place it in the manner of Robert Sonneman's orbit lamps for George Kovacs. All bulbs are included — the three satellite globes and the central globe bulb, believed vintage. Chrome is bright.

A substantial, room-defining accent for a credenza, console, or low cabinet in a mid-century or contemporary interior.

Measurements: overall height 31¾ in to the top of the tallest bulb; the three satellite bulbs top out at 31¾ in, 27 in, and 23½ in (sockets at 28¼ in, 24¼ in, and 20¼ in to the socket bottoms); central globe about 9 in diameter, its top at 18 in; approx. 16 in across at the widest; base 8 in diameter.
