A pencil signed and numbered limited edition print of Paul Calle's "Fireside Companions," released by Mill Pond Press in February 1995. A mountain man in fringed buckskins and a red headband sits by a small fire inside a pole shelter hung with furs and gear, reading a book with a long pipe in his mouth while his canine companion rests at his side. Beaded, fringed cases hang behind him and pelts are stacked at the right. The whole scene is lit by the fire.
Offset lithograph printed by Litho-Krome Company on acid-free, pH neutral coated paper, published from Calle's 1994 oil on panel. Pencil signed "Paul Calle" at lower right and numbered 110/950 at lower left, with the plate signature "Paul Calle ©1995" in the image. The edition was 950 signed and numbered prints plus 76 artist's proofs.
