This is a striking vintage-style tea set, meticulously carved to resemble dark horn or wood, featuring a dragon motif and presented in a fabric-lined presentation box. The set includes one teapot and four matching cups, all crafted from a heavy, composite material with a dark, almost black color and lighter, natural-looking striations that mimic the texture and grain of aged horn.
The centerpiece is the teapot, which is heavily adorned with low-relief carvings of a mythical dragon. The spout is formed from the dragon's head, while the handle mimics its scaly, curling body. The body of the teapot is textured with detailed scales and swirling cloud motifs, resting on small, integrated feet. The flat underside of the teapot features a recessed, square seal containing four stylized, archaic-style characters. The four accompanying cups are simple and elegant, sharing the same striated texture as the teapot.
