About the Item

Kenn Wells Loop is a striking, limited-edition bronze sculpture depicting Kenn Wells, a distinguished professional dancer associated with London Festival Ballet who later appeared in the original London production of Cats. Merrifield captures Wells in a dramatic, gravity-defying pose, suspended from an enormous circular arc with one arm reaching skyward and his body extending gracefully into space. The dancer's richly textured, dark green-brown patina contrasts beautifully with the warmer reddish-brown finish of the sweeping circular form, emphasizing the figure's athletic physique while creating a captivating interplay of color, texture, and movement. Measuring approximately 34" H × 32" W, this impressive bronze rests on a rectangular base and is signed by the artist, inscribed “Kenn Wells,” and numbered 3/10, identifying it as part of a limited edition of just ten.
