It is one of a collection of precious and semi-precious stone carvings we purchased from a retired professor of gemology and gemology. It was his personal collection and each one is the best of the best. Amazonite Stone is also known as Amazon Jade, a healing stone in folk lore and mythology. It symbolizes peace, harmony , truth and communication. It is called the "peacemaker stone."

They also have negative connotations such as being a symbol for an unnecessary burden.
