Elevate a dining display or curate a luxury bookcase vignette with this rare, magnificent 3-piece porcelain presentation sugar bowl (şekerlik) complete with its matching underplate. Masterfully produced in 1987 by the historic Turkish state-owned firm Sümerbank under the legendary Yıldız Porcelain branch in Istanbul.
This exquisite set features incredibly dense, intricate underglaze floral scrollwork executed in brilliant cobalt blue. Every leaf and delicate petal is painstakingly highlighted with brilliant overglaze gold gilt work, capped off by an elegant, solid gold-gilted figural finial handle on the dome lid.
The base of the underplate proudly displays the authentic blue underglaze Sümerbank crest, alongside the handwritten artist inscription: "Elle Süsleme / Deseni çalışan / N. UZNER. / 1987 / Sn. 332." confirming its pedigree as a unique piece hand-decorated by a skilled factory artisan. Perfect for lovers of Ottoman-revival aesthetics, Chinoiserie accents, or fine European/Middle Eastern art porcelain.
Set Includes: Deep Base Bowl, Matching Domed Lid with Gold Finial, and Coordinating Presentation Underplate.
