An exceptionally high-quality teak highboard, crafted by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn in Denmark between 1960 and 1965. This Danish furniture workshop embodies the qualities of Danish Modern in its purest form: balanced proportions, exquisite materials, and meticulous craftsmanship down to the smallest detail. An original manufacturer's plaque is located inside one of the drawers. The defining design element is the two louvered doors. The delicate, vertical teak slats, with their warm, vibrant interplay of colors, create a painting-like effect and lend the piece a unique depth. The body rests on tapered legs, which give the highboard an elegant lightness despite its height. Behind the doors are two large compartments with a total of five shelves, as well as three interior drawers, two of which are lined with felt. This highboard is exceptionally well-made, featuring numerous solid wood elements – true Danish craftsmanship evident in every detail.

Condition: Beautiful vintage condition – only minor blemishes on the upper rear corners and along the edges of the edging, which do not detract from the overall appearance.
