The polished fossilized wood is a warm, dark brown hue, streaked with white and beige veins. On the larger tabletop, the growth rings and fibers of the original trunk remain visible. The base retains the wood's vertical grain, marked by fine, lighter-colored natural cracks. The composition combines the cube and the circle in a cantilevered arrangement, an unusual form for this material. The petrified wood is of indonesian origin. Petrified wood results from a slow fossilization process during which minerals, primarily silica, replace the wood's organic matter, preserving its structure. This table can be placed in a living room, in front of a sofa, or as a side table in a larger space. The petrified wood and its clean lines can suit a minimalist or brutalist interior, as well as a wabi-sabi style. Dimensions: total length: 70 cm, total width: 55 cm, total height: 44.8 cm. Diameter of the large tabletop: 55 cm, thickness: 5 cm; diameter of the small tabletop: 35.5 cm, thickness: 5 cm; base dimensions: 34 cm (w) x 39 cm (l) x 34.8 cm (h). Weight: 300 kg.
