set of six very rare dining chairs, designed by niels o. Møller and manufactured by j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik in denmark. Model 78 was designed in 1962 and is considered a prime example of organic danish modernism.

the chairs are crafted from solid teak, whose warm color and vibrant grain accentuate the clean, organic lines. The minimalist, turned, and carved frame follows the contours of the body: the open, gently curved backrest conforms to the back, ensuring exceptional comfort, while the slender construction gives the chair remarkable stability despite its lightness. The seats have been expertly re-woven with new paper cord using traditional hand-weaving techniques – just as in the original design.

the teak wood has been carefully refurbished, all joints inspected and re-glued. The chairs are sturdy, comfortable, and ready for immediate use. The original j.l. Møllers møbelfabrik brand stamp is located under the seat.
