Its special feature lies, firstly, in the fact that Dino Gavina is more known for furniture than lighting, and the production run of this lamp was likely very limited, as this model has been, and remains, extremely rare for many years.

Besides its aesthetic and minimalist design, there is another unique feature. The spherical lampshade can be rotated or swiveled 360° "infinitely," allowing for versatile lighting options. See photos. The secret of this patented feature is only revealed when the front is opened.

It also features a chrome-framed frosted glass diffuser for soft light, a dimmer switch, and a power switch.

All in all, a table lamp for the most discerning tastes, a rare collector's item, and a work of art that subtly touches everyone.
