The thick slate top carries the beautiful mottled grey tones and subtle surface variations unique to natural stone, while the robust cast iron base — with its elegant yet utilitarian form — speaks to the golden age of French ironwork and industrial craftsmanship. Together they create a piece of remarkable visual contrast and tactile richness that bridges the worlds of fine antiques and industrial design. Sourced directly from France, this table works beautifully as a dining table, library table, or statement centerpiece in a loft, studio, or eclectic interior. An exceptionally rare and characterful find for lovers of French antiques and industrial-meets-natural design. See less
