Crafted from a dark, richly grained hardwood with a deep reddish-brown patina, the tray is accented with small, evenly spaced dots of light-colored shell inlay along its undulating edge.

The center of the tray is decorated with a classic nature scene. Two birds with iridescent green and blue wing accents are perched facing each other on a delicate, leafy branch. To the left, two large blossoms—one white and one pale yellow—are rendered in detailed shell inlay with green foliage. In the background, a small mountain motif, a pink moon-like disc with trailing clouds, and a small flying bird complete the serene composition. The natural grain of the dark wood provides a striking background that makes the iridescent shell artwork pop.

The tray is solid, substantial, and features a smooth, polished finish. It serves as a stunning decorative accent or a functional piece for serving tea and organizing small items on a vanity or coffee table.
