The artwork portrays a classic Neapolitan scugnizzo (street urchin) casually posed against a weathered, textured wall. Dressed in a striped jersey, a worn jacket, and patched green trousers with a cigarette casually dangling from his lip, the subject captures the gritty, romanticized realism characteristic of turn-of-the-century Italian genre painting. The artist's signature is clearly visible in the lower right corner.

The painting is housed in a heavy, ornate, gold-finished Rococo revival wooden frame featuring deep scrollwork and sculptural relief detailing, making it a striking decorative statement piece for any interior.
