A set of six Henredon dining side chairs in the Louis XV / French Provincial style, freshly reupholstered in a flame-stitch chevron fabric of cream, blue-gray, slate, and soft mauve.
Each chair has a shaped, upholstered back framed in carved wood and topped with a hand-carved floral crest, a button-tufted inside back, an upholstered outside back, and a welted seat. The molded frames sweep down into graceful cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. They're armless side chairs, so they tuck neatly around a dining table.
Each chair is solid and sturdy with no wobble. The new upholstery is clean and ready to use. The wood shows light wear consistent with age, mainly small scuffs and nicks on the back of the top rails. Please see all photos.
Stamped "Henredon fine furniture" under the seat rail (see photo).
