One (of 3) spectacular oval ''Soleil'' mirror, Modernist, Form-Free, Art Populaire, Shabby-Chic, with the important frame of wrought iron slats of square section arranged in rays around (and partially on, a oval mirror), to assign, France 1950.
It is a work of ironwork: the slats are welded on a wrought iron oval base. The mirror slides into a slide in the back provided for this purpose.
Small manufacturing irregularities appear in places, without consequences.
Note that the rays are superimposed on the mirror on a good part of the frame, creating quasi-kinetic shimmering effects.
