This highly decorative blanket trunk features an incredibly detailed, deep-relief front panel depicting mythical Foo Dogs (Guardian Lions) playing amongst rolling ribbons. The top lid, lower apron, and sides are framed with intricately carved floral plum blossom borders.
It features classic brass hardware with a traditional round medallion flush-clasp on the front, and it rests on uniquely shaped wing-style carved feet.
Constructed out of solid camphor wood, the interior naturally emits a wonderful, clean aroma that acts as a natural deterrent for moths—making it ideal for storing blankets, linens, winter clothes, or heirloom fabrics. It can also function beautifully as a statement coffee table or entryway bench. See less
