A beautiful piece of vintage marine art by the internationally renowned environmental artist Robert Wyland. Titled "Children of the Sea," this authentic 1990 sculpture captures two highly detailed dolphins leaping gracefully above a textured coral ocean reef floor.
Crafted in a striking translucent teal green lucite/acrylic, this piece naturally catches and filters light, making it a stunning accent piece for a coastal-inspired mantle, upscale library shelf, or console table.

Condition Notes:
Excellent vintage condition consistent with its age and light handling. The lucite retains a clear, vibrant color and beautiful transparency. There are no major chips, deep gouges, or cracks. Upon close inspection under direct light, there is some very minor, light surface wear and faint superficial scuffs typical of vintage estate acrylic, which does not detract from its exceptional display value. Fully signed with the official etched script signature "Wyland 1990 ©" along the polished black base trim, plus a secondary molded copyright stamp on the rocky substrate.
