This image comes from Gustav Klimt: Women by Angelica Bäumer, Rizzoli, 1995 edition. The accompanying reference information identifies the original work as oil on canvas, measuring 145 x 145 cm, and held by the Österreichische Galerie, Vienna.

The bookplate is presented under glass with a warm neutral mat and an ornate metallic frame with softly aged gold and silver tones. The decorative floral frame complements the pale pinks and creams of the sitter’s gown and gives the piece a refined, traditional presentation.

A beautiful decorative accent for a bedroom, dressing room, study, living room, or collected gallery wall, especially for admirers of Klimt, Vienna Secession design, and turn-of-the-century portraiture.
