A statement-scale ceramic table lamp from the 1960s–70s. A thick lava drip glaze in orange, saffron yellow, and umber runs down a long flared neck and spills over a squat, bulbous body. Above a textured cream ground, the glaze ends in dramatic drips. The bubbled, volcanic surface texture gives it depth from every angle, and it looks especially warm when lit. The lamp sits on a turned wood plinth and keeps its original brass socket, harp, and finial. At 40" tall, it is a room-defining piece for a console, sideboard, or large end table. It pairs well with walnut, cane, and other warm ’70s palettes.
