Dating from the … Read more This sideboard, designed by Ejner Larsen and Aksel Bender Madsen, was manufactured by Næstved Møbelfabrik in Denmark. Dating from the mid-20th century, it impresses with its long, low form.

The teak wood displays a vibrant, vertical grain. The warm teak tone creates a pleasant atmosphere in the room. The four sliding doors are a particularly successful feature. They slide inwards, and the teak veneer extends across the entire front, making it difficult to recognize them as sliding doors at first glance. This gives the piece a seamless appearance and demonstrates its high-quality craftsmanship. The dark wooden handles add a subtle accent to the simple, straight lines of the front.

Behind the doors are adjustable shelves, and one section also features three drawers with visible dovetail joints and rounded recessed handles. The top surface offers space for a lamp, vase, or plants, and the sideboard can also be used effectively as a TV stand.

It is supported by round teak legs with small glides. These give the piece a light appearance and allow the floor beneath to show through.

The sideboard is in very good, restored condition with minor signs of age-related wear on the surfaces. This piece has an attribution mark,
