Beautifully designed teak chairs

Scandinavian design made in Germany :)
Marked IMHA (Internationale Möbel Handelsgesellschaft) from Rheda-Wiedenbrück, a German furniture manufacturer, produced high-quality seating furniture during the 1960s and was part of the Musterring Group.

The design was strongly influenced by the extremely popular Scandinavian and Danish Modernism of the era (such as the designs of Erik Buch or Niels O. Møller). The same characteristic stylistic elements were used: elegant teak wood, organically curved armrests, and ergonomically shaped upholstery.

Dining Chair Set, 1960s

Set of 6

High-quality and sturdy

4 dining chairs, 2 armchairs
Seats upholstered in original fabric

Sturdy construction, timeless design!

Excellent condition, barely any signs of wear typical for its age – only one of the armchairs is a bit unusual: it has a hole at the front edge of the seat, the top edge of the backrest is worn, and two screw hole covers are missing.
