Capture a timeless Chinoiserie aesthetic with this exquisite mid-century Chinese brush painting on woven silk. The artwork dynamically renders a fierce, crouching tiger with striking golden eyes stalking through a dense thicket of marsh reeds and tall grasses.
Executed with precise fine-line detail on the fur juxtaposed against fluid, loose ink washes in the surrounding foliage, the distinctive grid structure of the authentic silk substrate is clearly visible upon close inspection. The piece is housed in its original dark wood vintage frame with a wire hanger and sealed kraft paper dust cover on the reverse. A striking cabinet-sized addition to any gallery wall or vignette.
