These striking lamps feature hand-carved wooden bodies and are are finished with a heavily distressed, creamy off-white lacquer and decorated with hand-painted gilt over gesso. Small gilt rosettes give them a transitional appeal that can be suited for many spaces. The turned, baluster-shaped columns terminate in stepped, circular tiered bases, also in a gilded finish.
There are small imperfections where the gesso may show through that is in keeping with the age and style of the pieces. The lamps have been re-wired to be electrically new.
