Crafted with a beautiful two-tone finish, the deep, dark bronze base is heavily contrasted by ornate gold (gilt) accents. The wide, flared bases are exquisitely embossed with traditional Chinese dragons, a symbol of power, strength, and good luck. Above the dragons, the tiered central columns feature raised Chinese characters (reading "Zhao Cai Jin Bao," meaning "Attracting wealth and treasures"), leading up to striking, deeply carved lotus flower tops.
These substantial pieces have a wonderful weight to them (approx. 726 grams for the pair) and a rich, aged patina that gives them an authentic antique feel.
