Powerful vintage bronze statue of Dorje Shugden, the revered Dharma protector of Tibetan Buddhism, seated atop a roaring snow lion. The figure is finely crafted with deep high-relief carving, accented with gilded highlights and rich hand-applied polychrome pigments across garments, accessories and flame mandorla backdrop.
He holds ritual implements in both hands, with a dynamic flame aureole rising behind the figure, all resting upon an ornate multi-lotus pedestal. As a guardian deity, Dorje Shugden symbolizes wisdom, protection, and the removal of obstacles for practitioners. This substantial bronze piece is a commanding altar centerpiece and a treasured collectible for Himalayan religious art enthusiasts.
