Signed MDC, this vintage raku-fired ceramic vessel pairs a rounded pink crackle-glazed body with angular gray tripod supports and a sculptural lid. Its geometric composition brings a postmodern character to a console, pedestal, or pottery collection.
Dark crackle lines articulate the glossy rose surface, contrasting with textured gray supports decorated with crosshatching and raised geometric details. An incised shoulder band frames the body, while intersecting forms crown the lid and echo the angular base. The pointed underside adds definition to the elevated silhouette.
