Three stylized human figures with elongated necks and minimalist facial features are clustered together in the foreground, their simplified forms rendered with the cool, distanced approach characteristic of brutalist and cubist-influenced figuration. A smaller, round-faced figure occupies the right foreground while two taller figures stand behind, their abstracted faces reduced to spare lines suggesting eyes, nose, and mouth.

Dark, angular tree trunks and branches press in from the left and upper sections of the composition, framing the figures in an organic yet oppressive architecture that reinforces the brooding, elemental mood of the work. The earthy palette of ochre yellow, deep brown, muted green, and dark blue keeps the composition grounded and raw, while visible brushwork and board texture give the surface a tactile, physical quality consistent with the best brutalist painting of the early 1970s.

Presented in a wide rustic wood frame with natural finish and visible grain that suits the rugged, uncompromising character of the painting. A confident and genuinely distinctive brutalist figurative work from a fertile period of postmodern artistic experimentation.
