Utilizing its original heavy-duty wooden telescoping slide mechanism and the included 11-inch leaf, the table expands to a substantial 43.5" x 41" near-square gathering table.
​What sets this piece apart structurally is its six-leg configuration. Two central turned legs remain tucked beneath the apron when closed and anchor the center of the table when extended, all riding on original metal casters. The outer legs boast deeply fluted shafts, cross-hatched diamond carving, and bulbous turnings, united at the base by dramatic arched stretchers adorned with scrolled brackets and turned finials.
​Professionally cleaned and presented in remarkably well-preserved antique condition. The wood retains a rich, warm honey-oak finish that highlights the dramatic ray fleck of the quarter-sawn boards.
