Vintage Rosenthal cobalt blue and gold-gilded porcelain demitasse or mocha cup, featuring deep navy-blue ground, gold interior, elaborate gilt floral swags, and raised small turquoise-colored enamel bead "jewels".
The green mark reads "Rosenthal / SELB BAVARIA," with the crowned crossed-line emblem. This style of script logo was used beginning in 1907, with the "Selb Bavaria" designation pointing to production before the "Germany" marks of 1934 and later.
Cup is 1½" tall, 1⅓" diameter excluding handle. Unfortunately there is no saucer. Good vintage condition.
