A luminous ivory passage connects the composition, surrounded by deep green curves, dusty pink, ochre, burgundy, blue and orange. Circles and semicircles create visual links between the upright forms, balancing a structured arrangement with rounded contours.

The title translates as “Affinity” and reflects the relationships between neighbouring shapes. Some appear to fit together, while others overlap or interrupt one another, inviting different readings of the abstract space.

Layers of oil paint, applied with palette knife and brush, create a tactile surface. Scraping reveals underlying colours, giving the geometric planes depth and subtle variation.
