This rare piece represents a prestigious collaboration between the Vetreria Tagliapietra furnace and the world-renowned Barovier dynasty. It features the original foil "Vetreria Tagliapietra e Barovier" label intact on the satin-finished base and is personally diamond-point signed "A. Tagliapietra" on the underside.
The Masterwork:
Materiality: Crafted in genuine Neodymium (Alexandrite) glass. This dichroic glass exhibits a dramatic color shift: a vibrant, deep violet under natural or incandescent lighting, transforming into a cool, icy blue under fluorescent or UV light.
Virtuosity: Executed using the massello technique. At 7 lbs, the sculpture possesses a remarkable density and liquid-like clarity, showcasing the maestro’s ability to manipulate solid molten glass into a gravity-defying twist.

Signed works by Andrea Tagliapietra are increasingly sought after. This piece, with its dual attribution to Barovier and hand-etched signature, is a premier investment for any high-end Murano collection.

Condition: Mint vintage condition. The satin-finish cylindrical base is clean and provides a sophisticated contrast to the high-polish body. Free of chips or cracks.
