• Motif: The exterior body features a hand-applied, raised relief decoration depicting a traditional imperial dragon chasing the flaming pearl or an Asian bird and fern design.
• Material: It is crafted from heavy, rustic brown earthenware or stoneware with unglazed or slightly slipped relief details.
• Interior: The inner rim and interior are heavily coated in a contrasting green celadon or turquoise-toned glaze, which pools and drips naturally down the outer neck.
• Historical Use: Originally manufactured during the late Qing Dynasty period, these durable vessels were primarily used for fermenting, pickling, or storing goods like preserved "century eggs".
