These are postmodern table lamps designed by Ron Rezek, originally introduced in the 1980s.
Key Details & Features:
• Designer: Ron Rezek, a prominent Los Angeles-based lighting designer known for his contributions to the Memphis Group era and minimalist industrial design.
• Material & Finish: While this iconic geometric mushroom silhouette was typically produced in galvanized steel, this pair is a much rarer and highly sought-after solid copper variant. They feature a heavy verdigris green patina achieved through natural oxidation.
• Shade Construction: The lamps utilize a two-part shade system. An inner white enamel reflector shade attaches directly to the base to optimize light dispersion, while the outer conical copper shade rests loosely on top. The tiny geometric cutouts along the lower rim cast distinctive accent patterns when illuminated.
Dimensions:
• Dimensions: Approximately 18 inches in height with a shade diameter of 13.75 inches.
