The sculpture, imbued with a fresh narrative, depicts a playful young skater dressed as a bear cub, wearing a fur hat with perky ears and a finely cut fur coat, caught in mid-stride as he pushes a traditional sled. The graceful curves of the sled create a small trinket tray, adding a functional dimension to this beautifully poetic winter work. The child's facial features and the textured finish of his clothing demonstrate skillful craftsmanship.

The piece rests on a rectangular base of veined onyx in cream and orange hues, enhanced by a delicate brass mount that underscores the elegance and authenticity of this prestigious item.
