Both panels are signed “Anita” and dated 1920 in the lower right corner, presented in matching frames with a linen-covered mat.

A charming, slightly naive still life style typical of early 20th-century amateur or academy painting, with real tactile presence in the paint surface — the fruit built up in visible ridges of pigment rather than smoothly blended.

Colour: please note colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings — feel free to ask for additional photos in natural light before purchasing.

Condition: the cherry panel has a vertical structural crack to the lower portion of the wood (see photos) — a genuine age-related fault, not recent damage. The plum panel shows no structural cracking. Both surfaces show craquelure consistent with their age. Frames show light wear.

Materials: Oil on wood panel, wood frame with linen mat
