Conceived in the spirit of mid-20th-century design, this oval dining table dates from the 1960s in Czechoslovakia, carrying forward the legacy of functionalist design. Attributed to Kovona, the piece reflects the design influence of architect Eero Saarinen.

The table combines walnut veneer and polished chrome-plated steel. Its oval top features veneer arranged in a geometric pattern of radially converging lines. The table is supported by a central pedestal and a wide oval base made of chrome-plated steel, providing legroom around the table.
