design
the frames follow the contours of the seats and backrests, with curved metal supports remaining visible from every angle. Viewed from behind, a series of upright bars traces the gently reclining backs, giving the sofas an architectural presence even when placed away from a wall. Slender, splayed legs end in small, gold-toned circular feet, introducing a subtle detail at floor level.

padded armrests curve around the ends of the frame, continuing the blue upholstery across the upper surfaces. A central seam divides both the seat and back into two sections, lending rhythm to the otherwise uninterrupted cushions. Rather than concealing the construction, the design makes the relationship between frame and upholstery part of its character.
