depicting a peaceful natural setting immersed in greenery, attributable to European landscape painting of the 19th century.

The composition is dominated by dense vegetation and tall trees that frame the scene, creating a pleasant sense of perspective and depth.

At the centre of the painting, a luminous area opens onto a path, while in the background a country house can be seen surrounded by vegetation and,

partially hidden to one side, a young girl with a cow.

The natural light filters through the tree canopies, creating delicate contrasts between the shaded and illuminated areas.

The pictorial rendering favours natural and warm tones, with deep greens in the foreground gradually fading into softer and more delicate colours.

The work recalls the tradition of French landscape painting and 19th-century Naturalism, in which the representation of nature takes centre stage.

The artist focuses particular attention on light.

This is an antique painting dated 1885, although the signature has been partially erased and is therefore no longer legible.

The painting is presented in a beautiful original and authentic antique gilt frame.

The antique frame and the painting have been professionally and carefully restored.
